About

I started making games in Brazil in 2005, porting Castlevania and Dragon Quest to early mobile phones. Joined EA when they opened a studio in São Paulo and spent five years shipping FIFA, Need for Speed, Real Racing, and a bunch of other titles. Led the engineering team through the transition from 2D Java games to 3D C++/OpenGL ES.

In 2015 I joined Halon Entertainment. Over the next ten years I worked my way from Technical Director through Head of R&D to Director of Engineering, building the production pipeline, setting up an LED volume stage, building a real-time fisheye camera in UE4 for the MSG Sphere, and building a virtual production game in Unreal for MrBeast.

Right now I'm mostly thinking about AI and 3D generation. I built Concept-to-Scene, an AI pipeline that turns concept art into 3D environments. I'm learning 3DGS and 4DGS. I make MCP servers so AI agents can control creative apps. And I'm trying to figure out if you can classify retro game genres from raw ROM binaries, just because I want to know.
